I had the great opportunity to photograph this lovely birth! I was the backup birth photographer and got called in~ 5 am has never looked so good though! Not only do I want to stress here that it is so important to communicate with your birth photographer… but I definitely recommend having a backup photographer who is recommended by your hired birth photographer. So many things can happen, you never know!!! I got the call at 3:30 am that she was dilated to a 7, Her husband didn’t know when I should leave, but wanted his wife to rest. Naturally… she had been in labor for 36 hours by the time she delivered (I believe… give or take an hour or two). I chose to leave at 4:15 am, I arrived at the hospital at 4:45. I let her hubby know I was in the parking lot… he chose to continue to let her sleeping. I got a text LESS than 5 minutes later and she was ready to start pushing. SEE communication is key!!! Her hubby did everything right, and I am SO thankful!!! Anyways, I was overjoyed to spend the morning with this wonderful family. Congrats, your son is absolutely handsome!!!
